Is 2023 the year for mental health in the workplace?

The workplace has certainly changed over the last few years due to the pandemic, and we’ve all been affected by it one way or another.

The The World Health Organization is paving the way for healthier and happier workplaces around the world. Through evidence-based strategies, they are encouraging training of managers to transform their knowledge, attitudes and behaviors towards mental health support as well as improving help-seeking behavior from workers in distress. They also focus on getting people living with mental health conditions back into work along with providing guidance about screening programs that can be implemented by employers.

Recently, The World Health Organization released a report about how employers can get more serious about mental health in their organizations, from proper training for workers to better engagement with teams and colleagues. It’s an important subject that needs continuous attention so everyone stays healthy.
